Our Lady of the Assumption School Library

Who holds the record for stolen bases in a single season? What is a pas de deux? Where was William Carlos Williams born? When was Emmett Till murdered? Why did the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor in 1941? How do you go about building a tree house?

You can find the answers to these and thousands of other questions in YOUR new school library.  Not just answers for school reports and assignments, but for your own curiosity, your thirst to learn and to explore.  New worlds await you through the magic of books.

How can you find the books you want and need, and then put them back in the right place so someone else can find them? By using the Dewey Decimal System. It is not hard to learn, and is worth knowing. Check out this site, made by kids for kids:

Do We" Really Know Dewey?

Don't forget to fill out the reading log you received at the beginning of the school year every time you finish a book. When it is completed, bring it to the library and get your special Reading Certificate of Achievement!
